Dr. Alka Sinha is working as director of gynecology and Head of Laparoscopic Surgery - Obstetrics & Gynaecology
She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery. A diligent and skilled surgeon, Dr Sinha has been trained at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Since then she has worked as a Consultant at various leading Hospitals in the city where she was doing advanced Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery. In her quest for professional excellence, she went to Kiel University, Germany for further training in Advanced Endoscopic Gynaecological Surgery. She has been awarded a Fellowship in Robotic Surgery from the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
Dr Sinha is doing all sorts of gynecological endoscopic surgeries including advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries. She is assisted by an experienced team of gynecologists, equipped with the latest state-of-the-art instruments and facilities and supported by an excellent anesthesia team. Many difficult cases are referred to her for surgery not only from Delhi and NCR but also from other states.
Dr Sinha is also actively involved in teaching and training young gynecologists. She is the Co-Director of the Endoscopy training program at BLK Max Hospital. She has been a faculty member at many national and international conferences and has participated in workshops on gynecological laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
She has been a faculty member at various regional and national conferences and has delivered lectures on various topics related to laparoscopy.
She is a Director of the FOGSI recognized Endoscopy training centre at BLK Hospital and she has trained many gynecologists.
